Writer, Director, and Producer Mark Murphy, known for ‘For Love or Money’ (2019), ‘The Comedian’s Guide to Survival’ (2016), and ‘Awaiting’ (2015) has launched a new PodCast series for film students, enthusiasts, and industry insiders alike.
Each month, Mark Murphy’s PodCasts will feature different British voice artists narrating aloud his blogs and thought, with the series beginning with a study of Film Cinematography including a fascinating look in-depth at Cinematography in Superhero movies.
Speaking exclusively about the new project, Mark Murphy said: ‘I’m delighted with this, it’s been on my mind for a while to get a PodCast series underway, and I’m thrilled to have finally been able to spend the time developing the project. I now want to ensure it lives up to its full potential, and I’m excited to see it starting to grow from here!’.
Mark Murphy has written and directed for a number of Television projects and films, and has an extensive list of credits to his resume. From directing multiple episodes of TV series’ like ‘Movie Kingdom’ and ‘A Moment With’, to writing, directing, and producing notable movies like ‘A Comedian’s Guide To Survival’ and ‘For Love or Money’, Mark Murphy has built himself an enviable catalogue and body of work.
Like most professionals in his industry, he’s struggled during Covid times, but is now back working on a new project. ‘We’ve just started a new movie project, and will be able to share more information about that pretty shortly.’ Mark said, before adding ‘It’s so good to be back at work, I didn’t realise how much I’d missed it until I stepped back into it recently. Hopefully, we don’t see the likes of 2020 ever again, because I don’t think we’d all survive another shut-down period like that one. It’s onwards and upwards for us all now, and my new projects, including both the new movie and this new PodCast series, are a huge part of my own personal journey back to normality.’
