Fusion Electrics helping young cheerleaders’ dreams come true at Florida world finals

Management at a specialist electrical contractors are helping a team of young cheerleaders get to the world championships on the other side of the Atlantic.

Fusion Electrics, in Leicester, is supporting the Premier Star team at the AllStar World Championship in Orlando, Florida. The event, which takes place at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex from May 4-7, will showcase the best cheerleading teams from around the world.

Fusion Electrics is helping cover various costs associated with the competition – including entry fees – and its support is helping the Leicester-based team showcase their skills on a world stage.

The 26-strong squad, which is aged from nine-upwards, has been practising its routine since last September, working tirelessly to perfect stunts, tumbling, and pyramids to hopefully ensure a flawless performance at the competition

The first part of the event will see the girls compete in a battle round to try and win a place in the finals.

Joanne Skinner, business development director of Fusion Electrics, said: “At Fusion Electrics, we believe in supporting local communities and organisations that demonstrate similar values to ours, teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship.

“We are honoured to sponsor this local cheerleading team, Premier Star as they compete against the best in the world.”

She said the AllStar World Championship was the most prestigious cheerleading competition in the world, attracting thousands of athletes, coaches, and spectators.
