Championing our region’s businesses is at the heart of everything Pattersons Commercial Law does. So it’s no surprise that the company, established in October 2016 with a core focus on advising small and medium enterprises, should mark its fifth anniversary by sponsoring both the NottinghamshireLive Top 200 Companies list and the LeicestershireLive Top 200 Companies lists earlier this year and now the Lifetime Achievement award at the LeicestershireLive Business Awards 2022.
The LeicestershireLive Business Awards (headline sponsored by Freeths) will celebrate and recognise the region’s best business talent. The awards will launch W/C July 25, 2022 and will provide companies of all sizes, from pioneering start-ups to the powerhouses which drive the region’s economy a chance to be recognised and be proud of their achievements. Previous winners have used the awards to raise their profile, attract new employees, and have gone on to develop national and international success.
Some of the team at Pattersons Commercial Law“The LeicestershireLive Business Awards 2022 celebrates the very best of Leicestershires businesses; those who are making a real difference to Leicester’s economy, local supply chains and creating employment,” explained Managing Director of Pattersons Commercial Law, Rik Pancholi. “This event highlights the efforts made by these businesses and we are delighted to be able to sponsor this event which follows our support of the Top200 in Leicester, Top200 in Nottingham and the Leicester Business Festival.”
Pattersons Commercial Law provides legal advice to businesses and their owners and the decision to sponsor the Lifetime Achievement Award category at the Business Awards, highlights the company’s close-knit and evolving relationship with the business community. As award winners themselves with the most recent being Small Business of the Year at the Nachural Business Awards 2022, Pattersons Commercial Law recognises the importance of business owners being recognised by their peers.
The law firm started off advising on matters ranging from buying and selling businesses, restructuring groups of companies and general commercial advice – and then developed to advise on both commercial property transactions and debt recovery. In 2020, Pattersons Commercial Law acquired Ashteds Solicitors which expanded the services provided to include insolvency (both personal and corporate) and complex dispute resolution.
