The Stafford Chamber of Commerce has been confirmed as the anchor tenant of the newly-refurbished Shire Hall.
The organisation will be setting up a new base inside the Grade II-listed Market Square building, in Stafford, when it opens later this year.
The facility is currently undergoing a £2 million renovation, but it will eventually play host to around 20 businesses as an enterprise centre.
The building, which closed in mid-2017, is expected to become a thriving hub for local businesses ranging from start-ups to international traders.
Building works are scheduled to be completed by the middle of this year, with businesses moving in shortly afterwards.
Stafford Chamber of Commerce manager Declan Riddell said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for the Chamber and we can’t wait to move to our new base at the heart of the county town.
