Huws Gray Group today announced the completion of their fifth deal of 2021 with the acquisition of TBS Building Supplies.
TBS are based in Towcester and Daventry, Northamptonshire, and have been snapped up by the fast growing Anglesey firm.
Established in 1990, from a single branch on the island, the Huws Gray Group, are now one of the largest independent builders’ merchants in the UK.

Matthew Owen, head of acquisitions for Huws Gray Group, said: “The acquisition of TBS marks our commitment to grow Huws Gray in Northamptonshire and beyond.

The acquisition of a further two branches in Northamptonshire doubles the company’s presence in the county and reinforces their commitment to connecting their established sites across the UK.
In July Huws Gray announced its agreement to acquire the GB Merchanting businesses from Grafton Group plc – which comprise approximately 200 merchant branches and 3,500 people.
That massive deal saw its branch network double.
