An expanding Gloucestershire holiday home letting agency has moved to a larger office in Cheltenham amid “strong demand” for local tourism.
Bolthole Retreats manages more than 150 properties in holidaymaker hotspot The Cotswolds and its surrounding areas. The business said its portfolio had grown by 50% in the last year, resulting in a 120% increase in bookings.
The company currently employs eight people, including founder Martin McWilliam, with half of the team recruited within the last 12 months. Bolthole Retreats said it plans to continue to hire more staff from the summer onwards as part of a five-year growth plan.
To accommodate its expansion, the agency is moving from its base on St George’s Road to a space three times the size on nearby Lypiatt Road.

Rebekah England, managing director of Bolthole Retreats, added: “The Cotswolds remains firmly at the top of tourists’ dream destinations list. The office move is a key milestone in our journey as a business, with the spacious new environment allowing us even more room to expand over the next five years.”
Earlier this year Bolthole Retreats was named Holiday Home Rental Agency of the Year for Gloucestershire at the Prestige Awards.
