Fast-growing DIY and trade retailer Toolstation is to open a third outlet in Plymouth creating seven jobs.
The business, one of the UK’s fastest growing and largest suppliers of tools and more, will start trading at Faraday Mill Business Park on Monday, November 22.
The opening follows on from Toolstation’s recent 500th UK branch opening in New Malden, Surrey, as the multi-channel business continues to move forward with ambitions to open more than 60 branches in 2021, creating more than 450 job opportunities.
Toolstation offers a wide range of leading brands and trade-quality products in branches and online, demonstrating Toolstation’s commitment to quickly and conveniently provide trade, DIYers and homebuilders with tools and more to tackle any task.
The knowledgeable Faraday Mill branch team will be on hand with expert advice and reliable service, Toolstation said.
Store manager Stuart Hunt said: “We are pleased to be opening the new branch and supporting local tradespeople, DIYers and home builders with tools and more in Plymouth.
“We recognise the importance of challenging times and our knowledgeable team are committed to providing local customers with a reliable and convenient service for the essentials they need to tackle any task.”
Toolstation’s multi-channel service means customers can safely purchase the essentials they need from branches directly or at toolstation.com through a click-and-collect service, with most products available within five minutes after purchase.
Customers of the Faraday Mill branch will also be able to try out Toolstation’s new customer app, providing the “quickest and easiest” way for trade and DIY customers to shop with Toolstation.
Once signed in, the app can help customers find and order from more than 22,000 products with real-time stock-availability. Customers can choose to click-and-collect from five minutes at their nearest branch or deliver to site or home.
The app will also mean trade credit customers can fully manage their accounts on the go. They can pay for orders, check their credit account, pay balances and download invoices.
Toolstation’s trade credit account provides better cash flow management, with up to 60 days interest free credit, flexible credit limits and fully online account management.
