Llandudno hub to drive employment and innovation in the hospitality and tourism sectors set to launch

A new multi-purpose hub which aims to drive employment, co-working and innovation in the hospitality and tourism sector is due to open in the heart of Llandudno on March 1.

The Hub will be based in Trinity Square and is part funded by the UK Government Community Renewal Fund.

Mostyn Estates Ltd and Coleg Llandrillo have partnered together to co-ordinate the scheme, which will provide free to use co-working, education, and conference facilities.

The project aims to enable businesses and individuals to work collaboratively. The Hub benefits from modern conferencing facilities and space can be taken on a short-term basis for both a desk only and on a room-by-room basis.

Edward Hiller, managing director of Mostyn Estates, said: “The scheme offers a very different model of business space in the heart of the town. Whilst this is a relatively short-term project, we hope the take up will demonstrate that alternative and innovative ways of working can be accommodated in the town centre.”

Gary Jones of Coleg Llandrillo added: “With a focus on innovation, the Hub will have capacity to support new businesses and entrepreneurs with a working space to develop, test and pilot their business models with support from both Busnes@llandrillomenai and Mostyn Estates.”

Those interested in utilising the facilities on offer can contact project administrator, Rosie Davies ([email protected]). For general enquiries regarding leasing contact Colin Flannigan of St Davids Commercial ([email protected]).
