Monmouthshire nursing home up for sale with £1.2m price tag

A nursing home in Monmouthshire has been put on the market with a £1.2m price tag. Crick Care Home, located in the village of Crick in Caldicot, is up for sale through specialist business property adviser Christie & Co.

The freehold site is on the market with an asking price of £1,250,000. The home has been under the same ownership for over 30 years but is now being brought to market due to the retirement of the owners.

The managed nursing home is registered with the Care Inspectorate Wales to provide care to up to 49 residents. The business occupies an attractive manor house building with a purpose-built extension on a site of just under an acre.

The property comprises 45 single rooms and two twin bedrooms as well as garden facilities.

Analysis conducted by Christie & Co found that a significant shortfall of bed spaces within 10 kilometres of the home, an under-supply which is forecast to increase over the next three years due to the demographics in the area sitting significantly above the Welsh average.
