    If approved, the development would also have another neighbour in Gasworks New Town, the £220m scheme with 1,224 homes, a 33-storey tower and a park approved in July.

    Both sites fall within Victoria North, the ambitious project helmed by Manchester council and the Far East Consortium which aims to build 15,000 new homes in north Manchester.
