The 2021 PlymouthLive Business Awards are just a couple of weeks away – so if you haven’t got a ticket yet, now’s your chance. The awards, with headline sponsors The University of Plymouth and City College Plymouth, will be held on November 3 – for more information, and to get tickets, visit the official website. Tickets are £75+VAT.
The awards provide us with an opportunity to celebrate the businesses and individuals in Plymouth’s business community that have truly excelled in the past year. Despite facing serious challenges in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic, businesses, employees, and entrepreneurs have overcome the odds to achieve incredible things.
As such, we want to showcase these achievements, and celebrate those who have helped the Plymouth business community thrive. After a period of judging, our finalists for 2021 have been chosen – and you can read all about their accomplishments ahead of the awards, right here.
One of this year’s headline sponsors is the University of Plymouth. Rich Adams, business engagement manager, University of Plymouth said: “Plymouth has always been a pioneering city and our business community continues this spirit of innovation.
“As a headline sponsor of this year’s Business Awards the University of Plymouth is especially proud to help highlight some of the successes our industry leaders have achieved against a period of such challenging trading conditions.”
This year’s second headline sponsor is City College Plymouth. Jackie Grubb, City College Plymouth principal and chief executive, said: “City College Plymouth is delighted to be supporting the Plymouth Live Business Awards which provides the opportunity to shout about the great businesses in Plymouth and to celebrate their successes.
“At City College, key to our successes are the close working relationships we have with our employers and this reinforces the vital role that the college has within the city.
“Responding to a changing economy with education that connects learning and our learners to the real world, working with students, employers and other stakeholders to shape a flexible, agile skills provision, supporting employment, innovation and productivity – this would not be possible without the support of employers, many of whom will take part in the award celebrations. We look forward to congratulating all of our city’s employers at the event in November.”
It’s our privilege to recognise these incredible businesses and individuals on November 3 – and if you’d like to join us, visit the official website to purchase your ticket. Tickets are £75+VAT.
