The NottinghamshireLive Business Awards are approaching for 2021 – as we prepare to celebrate the achievements of leading businesses and individuals in Nottinghamshire industry. The awards, in association with Champions (UK) PLC, will be held on October 14 – for more information, visit the official website.
After the challenges of the last year, we feel that the 2021 awards are more important than ever. The coronavirus left many companies, employees and entrepreneurs in precarious and unexpected circumstances, forced to adapt and change the way they worked to survive.
Nonetheless, businesses and individuals across Nottinghamshire continued to strive for the best – accomplishing amazing results in spite, and sometimes because of, the changes necessitated by the pandemic. It’s this skill and determination that makes Nottinghamshire’s businesses so special, and we can’t wait to celebrate them on October 14.
After a period of judging, the finalists for this year’s awards have been decided upon – and, in the run-up to the event, we’re publishing profiles on our finalists, to give readers a chance to learn about them ahead of the big day.
The Business Entrepreneur of the Year award – sponsored by Shakespeare Martineau – is for those individuals who have taken an innovative approach to doing business in Nottinghamshire. It recognises the success of an entrepreneur as well as their ability to carve out a spot for themselves in the business community.
