This year, we will be handing out ten different categories including three separate awards for businesses at different stages of their journeys.
We also have a new host venue for our 2022 awards as we head to Millennium Point in Birmingham for the first time.
The building, which sits on the doorstep of the new HS2 station in Curzon Street, is famous for its Thinktank science museum which is so popular with schools and families and offers visitors the chance to explore science, education and technology.
Our judging panel was chaired by BirminghamLive editor Graeme Brown who was joined by Emma Jackson from Mills and Reeve, James Slevin from Delta Financial Systems, Sarah Dowzell from Natural HR, who won our West Midlands Woman in Tech Award in 2019, and Anil Baddela and Clare Golby from our headline sponsor Kagool.

Mr Brown said: “A huge congratulations goes to all of those companies and individuals who have been shortlisted in this year’s West Midlands Tech Awards.
“The standard of entries was once again very high in what is now the fourth year we have hosted this celebration of the West Midlands’ thriving tech community.
“A big thank you goes to our judges for their hard work and difficult deliberations in narrowing down the entries for this year’s shortlist. We look forward to meeting our finalists and winners at the ceremony next month.”
