ne of America’s best known celebrity vegan chefs is to have a second bid at cracking London after closing his first restaurant in the capital two years ago.

Matthew Kenney, described by Vogue magazine as the restaurateur who “made health food sexy”, is to launch his venue Adesse on the second floor of Selfridges on Oxford Street on November 1 at the start of World Vegan Month.

It is the latest high-profile opening in London since the end of lockdown that have included the long-delayed launch of meat chef Salt Bae’s restaurant Nusr-Et Steakhouse in Knightsbridge last week, and the DC comic-themed Park Row in Soho last month.
