agamama-owner The Restaurant Group has named former Cadbury‘s finance chief Ken Hanna as its new chairman.
The London-listed group, which is also behind Garfunkel’s and Frankie & Benny’s, will succeed Debbie Hewitt, who will step down at the end of the year to chair the Football Association (FA).
TRG’s Graham Clemett said Hanna has “the right breadth of commercial and leadership experience” for the role.
Hanna , who is an experienced boardroom executive, will take up the role from January 1.
TRG had been burning through £5.5 million a month in lockdown and has slashed 3000 jobs and permanently closed over 200 sites since the pandemic hit.
