Disability charity Accuro (Care Services) is delighted to announce they have been awarded a grant of £15,000 from the Openwork Foundation.

The grant will go towards staff, transport and activity costs associated with delivering Accuro’s social and activity projects for a year for both children and adults.

Accuro offer many services for local people with a disability in West Essex, including youth clubs for children and young people aged 11+, Friendships Schemes for adults aged 19+, a Saturday Play Club for children aged 8+, and a Holiday Scheme that runs through the school summer holidays. Activities for members throughout the year include social evenings out, day trips during the summer as part of the Holiday Scheme, as well as an Adult Residential Holiday to Center Parcs.
