Watts Group Limited is proud to announce that it has been successfully awarded a place on the Rise Construction Framework within the Contract Administrator and Employers Agent bands.
Rise Construction Framework is a one stop shop for capital works and services; consisting of 17 groups the framework is supported by 102 reputable supply partners who are experienced in delivering capital projects for NHS Foundation Trusts, Universities, Local Authorities and Housing Associations.
Rise is an innovative, socially driven framework that propels social impact by investing monies directly into community initiatives providing the public sector not only with a compliant routeway to market but with the opportunity to transform communities by ‘buying social’.
Watts are excited to be working with the UK’s only pro-social construction framework. Pro-social businesses are self-sustainable social organisations that exist to provide social benefits to the communities around them and the vital benefits and opportunities that Rise Construction Framework provides ranges from purchasing wheelchairs for local hospital volunteers to investing in support workers helping survivors of domestic violence.
Mark Taylor, Director at Watts Group Limited attended a special celebratory event on April 20th dedicated to the renewal of the framework. He said “This is a great opportunity to help deliver on our CSR – Rise invest their profits back into the community and we are proud to be part of such an incredible and unique pro–social construction framework. It`s great to be on board with the Rise Construction Framework and to be given a chance to have a positive impact and deliver enhanced social value to their communities through construction.”
The event held at the beautiful University of Liverpool Yoko Ono Lennon Centre, welcomed over 150 supply partners to the site where Rise shared their history and vision for the future and launched its collective social impact project with donations to five local charities who work constantly to help others.
Watts now look forward to forming an integral part of the collaborative team responsible for making a positive contribution within the framework.
