A new employer-led training facility set to open this September will help businesses to upskill their workforce and create the innovators of the future.
The Swindon and Wiltshire Institute of Technology is a new campus offering technical and digital skills training for students, those already in employment, or those looking to retrain.
With science and technology playing an increasingly important role in the UK’s economy, the £21m facility provides high-quality education designed to meet future skills needs.
Based at New College Swindon’s North Star Campus, the state-of-the-art facility seeks to transform the skill sets of the town by delivering industry-focused training that provides students with a clear pathway to employment, and employers with a skilled workforce.
